M&P 15 Sport - Who has the cheapest in stock?

The adjustable gas block is the one thing I didnt do, that if I were to do again I would use the adjustable. Way easier than trying to balance buffer/spring combinations. They have been used for years on gas operated rifles and I am surprised that Stoner didnt include one on his original design.

We have the CA compliant ones in stock for $599. We can remove bullet button and install a regular mag catch button and spring and you will have the same gun.

S&W M&P15 SPORT (CA LEGAL) at G and R Tactical

C4

Here is the solution. Do not look any further. Very generous of Grant to offer to remove the CA bullet button nonsense. $599 + shipping + whatever your local FFL fee = probably close to the OTD price you'd find locally.

I will always state that even though Grant & I don't share the same opinions on some things, Grant runs a good store. I'm making an after-holidays shopping list right now.

I probably would have taken him up on this offer had I known it still had a threaded barrel. I tried to call him and left him a voicemail to ask if it had a threaded barrel, but I didnt receive a response so I went with smitty's

I went ahead and ordered 500 rounds of wolf for 28.5/rnd shipped: Wolf Polyformance .223 Rem 55gr FMJ 20/box - Natchez Shooters Supplies

I will buy some brass when I find a deal on it. Right now, the cheapest brass I have found is .33/rnd + shipping for pmc bronze. This is why I am considering converting to 5.45 and then eventually building the 5.45 components into their own upper.

Cool man. The important thing is that you got yourself a 15-Sport. When you get it, don't forget the obligatory pictures!

......and THEN the obligatory pics as you customize it! lol

They are $829 in a local gun shop around here, and yes, that is for the SPORT model.

Daaaaaaamn!!! That's crazy!!

Yep and unfortunately, they are the only gun shop that has any right now. Considering the price, maybe that's why they have them and no one else does. Then again, they also seem to add an extra $100 - $150 to the MSRP of all their guns so they can give you a "free" one year membership to their shooting range, which is $200 by itself.

My first Sport cost $675 plus the added Taxes etc..., second one cost $650. A store 1 hour ride had them on sale early November for $625. I thought the $650 that I paid was a good price since it was in town, no 2 hour round trip including gas.

And LGS owners wonder why people choose the Internet and a FFL. I did but only because my LGS had a 29 person wait at $599. I paid $643 plus FFL fee.

Last night there was a gunbroker seller at $619 plus $30 shipping if paid without CC then add 3%. That's the cheapest I've seen since http://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/ ran out of $619 Sports (shipped) and raised their price to $699; same AR15 Sport, different price.

addendum: Just rechecked that GB auction. Sold.

Heh, my wallet melted as soon as I got back into shooting after about a 15 year hiatus last December.

Hasn't recovered since, and probably never will. Tighter gun control would probably have one positive impact on me - a fatter wallet!

Stopped by Lawmen's in Raleigh,NC last week to ask if they had any M&P Sports; was told they came and went quickly. Went back yesterday at lunch and asked again and was told that some came in and only one made it to the floor and it was gone. I asked about getting on the waiting list. I was asked if I had purchased from them recently, I bought a Ruger SR1911 from them a couple of months ago so my information was current in their database. Sales guy said he had to check in the back, came back in a few minutes and said that if I wanted one right then that he had one in the back that was marked to be shipped to another one of their stores and I could have it. I told him that I'd take it and then asked how much it was. Including NC sales tax, $592.45. I was very pleasantly surprised. I hope to get some rounds downrange this weekend. I have not handled an AR type since the early 70"s and am getting real excited about my new 15 Sport.
