The lock and I don't mean "safety" sucks. It sucks philosophically, materially, essentially, and aesthetically. That said I own 3, but I wouldn't bet my life on any of them if I had a choice, and happily I do. /b

An interesting thing about the Remington 51 is it's generally considered to have the best handfitting gripframe of any magazine fed pistol. Oops! look like somebody already mentioned that. Once again I'm the Department of Redundancy Department! /b

Actually the photo is pretty deceptive. I think the top one is 90% at best, and the bottom one is pretty well worn. In fact the bottom one's so holster worn the barrel is burnished bright instead of the factory satin. Frankly, I was fairly amazed at how good they look in this picture! In fact...
