Agreed with all the comments. Love the McGivern front sight. Also, you did great on that gun. Great price!

    Pre-27 Price Check

I agree with everyone else... Try and get a little money back but I think you got a great deal either way!

    Value 3” model 10

Personally I think $800 would be a good deal for it. 3" k frames are fantastic and they dont seem to come up for sale often. I just bought a square butt for about $550 but i considered that a steal.

    To re-blue or not to re-blue 10-5 3"

Great price for a great gun! My vote would be to put the money towards a set of stags and carry it. My 3" SB is a safe queen

    Bargain

I have seen a lot of issues with Bryant Ridge... I find incorrect stuff with their listings all the time. Every gun is "SUPER ULTRA RARE." They also polish their guns and list them as brand new, but they dont state it has been polished... personally i find it a bit shady.

    PRICE CHECK: LH 24-3

I was lucky enough to find mine at a gunshop. I saw a wooden box behind the counter and asked what was in it. He showed me this 24-3 in the original wooden presentation case. The first 100 came in presentation cases. There was no price tag so i asked how much. Owner said, $650 and its yours... I...

    Performance Center Monster 629, 2 5/8"

Honestly one of my favorite Smith and Wessons i own. I have hogue tamers on them. The kind that generally come on X frames and it does wonders at soaking up recoil. The factory stocks are absolutely ridiculous. I am not particularly recoil sensitive but they are brutal.

    Closest thing to a Birthday gun... 586-3 8 3/8"

Absolutely Gorgeous! Love the long barrel 586s. Great to see some fellow "young guys" collecting S&Ws. I am curious how many guys in our age group are out there. I am still on the lookout for a nice 1990 gun.

    What's it worth?

Sorry to hear about that. Those round butt targets are desirable, its a shame someone modified them but i get it. Very nice gun! i would say in that condition, somewhere between $500-$600 would be what i would ask. Beautify revolver!

    Price Check on 24-3

The previous owner unfortunately beveled out the football reliefs on the stocks. They are definitely uncommon. Regardless if the presentation case is original, it still adds value to the package. I would say the price is fair in my opinion. I would try to point out those flaws and try to get it...

    Model 17-4 values

As you said, asking price and sale price are different. I have seen some ambitious asking prices but i generally see them going for 700-1000 depending on condition in accessories. I cant imagine paying anywhere near that, even in todays market.

    681 back from Pinnacle

I have to say that is one of the most tasteful and well executed custom jobs I have seen in a while. You put together an incredible revolver! Those combat stocks are gorgeous on there.

    27-6 what did i buy?

I have to disagree with that being "undesirable" -6s are definitely uncommon and very cool in my opinion. Just because its not pinned and recessed, doesnt mean its not desirable. Great pick up! A set of wood stocks would change the whole look of that gun. Congrats!
