They look like some Glaser Safety Slugs. I have some from when they were unbelievably low priced at $3 a pop, six to a package. They are small shot suspended in clear epoxy.

I have had a few nickle guns. Currently my only Smith nickle is a 29-2. I used to hear from guys that know more than me that Hoppes #9 is a no-no for nickle.
S&W nickle is very good stuff. If I remember correctly, there are three coats of plating. Copper, chrome, I think, and the final coat is...
I always thought of a fine revolver as a piece of art, and semi-autos more tool-like and utilitarian. There was a time when revolvers outnumbered my autos. Now i think its about even. Most of my autos are Sigs, while S&W are the predominant wheelgun.

"No gun hunting anymore"
At least you have left yourself an out. That is, some of the best guns are the ones you just stumble across when you are NOT EVEN LOOKING!!
Ha!
Absolutely get one. My favorite is the 6 1/2 incher. Newer M-25's had 6 inch barrels.
Just about any 625 is good, but I like the three inch. The 625 has a round butt while the older N-frames are square.
The wood palm-swell grips sure look a lot like Roco Firearm Technology grips. They are in the Brownells catalog, page 166. I have a pair on a Sig 220. They do have palm-swells, and they are great.
The .357 in the 125g sjhp load travels at such high velocity the bullet tends to fragment. The pieces travel separate paths, causing additional damage.
The .44 mag over penetrates.
Any more info than that and I will be forced to use footnotes!
neither one.
Too much blast and penetration for indoor shooting. However, the .357 is said to be a better man-stopper than the .44...Use the .44 on game animals.
A big, slow round is better for home defense. If you have a .44 mag, use .44 special Winchester Silvertips or Speer gold dots..
