I bought a couple for my MP9c from brownells and I know Midway also sells them. Probably cheaper than they would be at S&W. Both of them supply almost all the parts you may need for the m&ps.
CDNN usually has them, $24 or less, Midway USA usually has them too. I bought a few 12 rounders a while back at Midway for $22 each. Thete are lots out there just check the 'usual sources".:)
Lubing up the rails on your slide may help any sticking. The 10 round mags are sometimes problematic. The fix? Move to "Free America" and buy some real magazines. :D
My 9c is my daily carry weapon. I wouldn't trade it for 2 Glocks. ;)
JMHO but A Zoom aluminum snap caps are cheap insurance. Additionally they allow you to load up a magazine, check how it all operates manually and allows safe dry firing. For the cheap price, it's really good insurance. With a gun costing in excess of $500 why skimp? Buy the Azooms and be happy...
You must have purchased the one with the airsoft slide. Mine has the really nice, well done and quality "STAINLESS" on the slide. Yours must be defective, send it back to Kimber. :D
Again, just be sure you loosen the set screw. I'm sure you see that but it never hurts to be detail oriented. The mgw sight tool is the best way but it's also $95. :D
Watch the you tube video of Apex Tactical's Randy lee installing the USB in a M&P. He uses a aluminum rod wrapped in tape and taps it out left to right. I bought a MGW sight puisher tool and it works perfectly. Be sure and loosen the set screw before trying to tap it out. Take your time and...
I was a Sentry Dog Handler with the AF at Danang AB, (366 TFW), from Nov 67 to Sept 68. Our standard issue weapon was the "M16 Submachine Gun" as it was offically called. Actually it was a XM177, the first of the shorty M16s. Collapsible stock and the barrel ended at the gas block/front sight...
My #2 son is a California Highway Patrol Officer and they are issued S&W 4006s. I believe its a TSW model. They just received new pistols and he bought his old weapon, also a 4006, for $150. (Non TSW model). He wouldn't trade that S&W for a bucket full of H&Ks. Of course his bug is a Glock 27.
I bought a new Safariland Thumb-break Paddle model, Black, Suede Lined off gnbroker for $9.00 incl mailing. It's the carbon fiber look but the price was right. Fits my sq trigger perfectly.
Model No is:518-18. very nice paddle holster.
