Anybody watch this box on EBAY?

I watched one K22 OD box on that auction site not too long ago, maybe a year ago. It was nicer than the $868 box. It was so mint that it looked as if it was just manufactured. Perfect. It sold in the high $400 range, like for around $475 or so to someone known in the community, but not a forum...

    Another big canebrake

Aw heck no! That must be a least a 20 footer! Do I hear 25? ;) The other white meat. Seriously, that is a beautiful snake. I hope it was for saved for dinner and the skin. Lots of good eating there. All I ever come across are puny little two to three footers. Snakes that small are not worth...

    Shipping handguns you have sold

If "they" lose it, you file a claim and later on "they" find it and open the package, "they" are going to find a big can of worms to open up. It ain't worth those kind of headaches to save a few bucks. Best to play by their rules. I always ship FFL to FFL, fully insured.

    Any Mopar Guys out there

Old pics. I replaced my factory dual point ignition with a Mallory Super Magneto. No ignition cut out at any RPM. With 4.10s, porting, 12.5:1 compression and an Isky cam that car would scoot.

    .44 3rd Model with Pre-War Magnas-Who got it?

$510 for a set of prewar magnas – not bad. About the going rate. Free 3rd model with free holster – AWESOME!

    stinkin' screwdriver handles

I have several sets of black handle Snap On screwdrivers purchased new about 30-35 years ago. They don't really have a strong odor but it is there. The oddest thing is the handles sweat. Wipe them down good, go to use them weeks later and they have a strange moist film on them. That sweating...

Help pricing k22 outdoorsman 1st model

Not 1st year production, but too early for HH and magnas. Doesn’t sound like anything out of the ordinary. For a 95% gun, I would think more like $1400 – they aren’t rare. For a very good box add maybe $400. $2200 is high to me, thinking a good price would be closer to $1800 for the package. I...

Help pricing k22 outdoorsman 1st model

Do a little more research. A very early s/n gun would add to the value. So would a later issue one with original humpback hammer and magna grips. Perhaps post pics or the s/n for better input. The devil is in the details.

    I have a bad temper.

And not too long from now, maybe a few months at most, you'll shrug and think to yourself, BFD. That is, if you even remember the incident. The more times this happens, the better you are able to handle your temper. It works like that. Age and experience are your friend. Trials and tribulations...

    Humboldt County, CA trip suggestions?

With four days, and returning for nightly stays in a Eureka hotel, you will be busy with your itinerary. Visiting the Lost Coast will be an all day affair as it is slow driving with lots of twists & curves. It is a beautiful drive along Mattole Road, starting in Ferndale, then along the coast...

    Retirement Income?

If you have the knack and a keen eye, you can always scout the garage / yard / estate sales for underpriced goodies and try your hand at eBay or other similar venues. Lots of people do it. No stress, no time clock to punch and you are your own boss. Kind of like a smaller scale, locally oriented...

    Anyone like turkey Spam?

Yeah, I tried the turkey SPAM and it ain't none too good. Never been tempted to try it again. I do like the low sodium SPAM, but I only eat it when camping - fried SPAM 'n eggs is a filling breakfast, but even the low sodium variety is, IMO, too unhealthy to eat regularly. Hence I only eat a few...

    Gun Safes

EXACTLY! I value the no BS response from Liberty such as posted above. No waffling on the questions. I am always drawn to companies that conduct business in this fashion. FWIW, I bought a Liberty Lincoln back in 1995 and have no complaints. Amortized over the past 17 years, it works out to...
