    Airsoft accessories onn a 15-22?

I look around in multiple places online (not ebay). Usually I look in the classified sections of different forums. I've never tried this S&W forum, but have had good luck in the Brian Enos USPSA and the AR15.com forums. I think that thefiringline.com and thehighroad.org have classified...

    Airsoft accessories onn a 15-22?

Maybe others don't have this problem, but I've noticed that most inexpensive red-dot products (including high-end airsoft stuff) do not offer enough brightness on a sunny day. Maybe my eyes are getting old, or I'm just picky. Maybe it is the light colored dirt backstops here on our ranges. On...

    NFA what a joke

Not at all. It was just the way you asked about it... "tell us what your talking about?" Well, most of us already know, and you are the one interrupting the discussion. It is sort of like walking into a bar on Superbowl Sunday and asking the bartender "What's a football?" Google is your...

    NFA what a joke

With 41 previous posts, it seems most of us know these abbreviations and acronyms. National Firearms Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

need to cover up threads from flash hider

Ummm.... no. The factory 15-22 does not have a barrel shroud. That's a handguard. The special tool and aftermarket nut are used to REPLACE the OEM handguard with any number of standard ar-15 free-float handguards. Handguards may (or not) have picatinny rails for adding accessories. A barrel...

Getting that slide fire to run, the right way

OK, I stand corrected.... Still, I want to try the finger pic.

Getting that slide fire to run, the right way

mp15.22: Nobody is saying you can run the slide fire on the stock trigger. The finger-tool I created took my slide fire from so-so to super-easy. It runs like a champ now. I am suggesting that the typical tradeoffs between trigger weight and light-strikes, and super-light uppers, and...

    M&P 15-22 Forearm End Cap

Yea, seriously... what's it good for? Not much. I took mine off and have never put it back on.

Getting that slide fire to run, the right way

Todd, they important part is to brace you finger against curved rest in the slide fire stock. How you get the trigger to hit the finger is up to you, but I think most of us push forward on the upper. A little forward pressure is needed to make the thing run, so that process seems nature. With...

Getting that slide fire to run, the right way

Brett, not everybody has your Midas touch. I was looking at pictures of finger picks. they look very promising!! I think they might work well, if you could get the 'curve' out of them and wear them backward on your finger. Maybe you could heat and bend the plastic ones, or just take some...

Getting that slide fire to run, the right way

I have been working on getting my M&P 15-22 to run with my slidefire for a long time. I recently had an idea that resulted in a massive increase in functionally and ease of use. I have not seen it before, and think it is so good that if share it here. Typical things that everyone does: Very...

    shortening barrel

Why? Because: 1. Improved transitions when shooting speed-steel competitions. HUGE advantage. 2. Louder report, so the electronic timer can hear the shot when shooting speed-steel competitions. 3. More maneuverable in the front seat of the car (if you drive around your property with the...

Must Have Items for Your Range Bag

I always carry hand wipes (moist towelette). After a shooting match, you would be surprised at how many people want a few when they see them. Personally, I hate getting back into my car and smearing gun oil, soot, and 22 muck all over everything.

Bump Fire / Trigger / KNS Pin help

There is only one size of KNS pins for the 15-22. They must be specifically for the 15-22. They do come in multiple colors. The 15-22 receiver has thicker walls than the standard AR, and requires slightly longer pins. The Timney trigger has a downward extending set screw that pushes the...

    SBR M&P15-22 + Slidefire Stock

Seems that it would only run better than a 16" barrel. The lighter the upper, the better the 22 works. Less mass, same energy, more recoil, better slidefire movement.
