So i have been "out of the game" for a few years (bills/kids/life etc). I have chance to buy a 2" 10-5 from a co-worker. It is easily 98% or better? Is $600 too much?
First let me say that I'm not what you would call an "avid" collector. I have a few smiths but nothing i would call a collection. I recently saw a MPDC marked 2" Model 10 sell on gunbroker for $905. It was 95% or better judging by the pictures.
Question 1: What does MPDC stand for...
thanks for the replies. i was always told the transition guns would typically have one or the other but hardly ever both. looks like i can find what im looking for.
Is is possible to find a Model 19 that is pinned and recessed that was made in 1981 (my birth year)? I know that was the transition period but could i really find one?
I have a 3" model 60 and am thinking about putting 3 dot sights on it. Are there any drawbacks of doing this or anything I should be aware of before I do?
Also if any has done this already what sights did you use?
So my wife surprised me when I came home the other day and said that she wants a gun. I work late and she wants to be able to defend herself if the situation arises.
Here is my problem...... she incredibly tiny hands. I have a Sig938 that is almost too big for her to reach all the controls...
This might be a bad analogy. ..... every gun show I have gone to requires that all guns must be unloaded and haven't seen anyone complain about that practice. I don't see how the instructor of the Utah class is doing anything different. Just my two cents.
I say this because almost every 28-2 I see is bringing has a higher asking price than 28 no dash in similar condition.
Should have clarified this in the original post.
