The first of many lasts - my final qual.

We were allowed to keep our badges, one officer, one sergeant, and in my case, one lieutenant. My flat badge was shipped back to Blackington and "RETIRED" "LIEUTENANT" ribbons mounted on it. I keep them all in my safe.

Your dad certainly has great taste in firearms. Congratulations on receiving such a wonderful gift from your father. Receiving such a gun from a Dad makes it even more special. Don't shoot it! Regards. Bob

    DEFACED AND MISSING SERIAL NUMBERS

I beg to differ sir. A situation where the defaced serial number was on a stolen gun is a different matter. After recovery, if the gun could be identified as one reported stolen and belonging to a theft or burglary victim, it would be eligible for having a number stamped on it per the BATF...

    Novak's

Their site works for me. I think the change in their website reflects the shop's desire not to take in more pistol work. DEFACED AND MISSING SERIAL NUMBERS

I'm going to make one more comment on this. I met a young man once. Fine looking young man and well spoken. A couple of years earlier, he and his dad had gotten into an argument over something trivial. As a result of this squabble, the young man grabbed a baseball bat and beat his father to...

The first of many lasts - my final qual.

I have the same rig. I bought the Sam Browne when I got out our academy. We transitioned to collapsible batons but my rig still also has a baton ring hanging from it, cuff case, speed loader pouches, and radio holder. It is a combination now of black basketweave with patches of brown suede...

Twist the tip of the nail 180 degrees before bending it over, clipping it, flattening with a hammer, then final clean up with a rasp. Maybe a regional thing as far as technique but that is how I was taught. Seemed like shoes got thrown less often when the twist was employed. I have to agree...
