I just bought a 19-3 last night on Gunbroker that looks to be in mint condition. I can’t wait to see it. The ad said it was manufactured in 1970.

I have P365 and I really like it. I do still carry my P938 and P290RS from time to time, but most of the time I’m carrying the 365.

It's much better than the M9s we used to carry before. There was a learning curve with the DAK trigger though. I qualified with the gun the first time we went to the range with them in 2006, but I know a lot of fellow Coasties who had to go to the range multiple times before they qualified...

When the Coast Guard switched to the Sig in 2006, we gave all of our Beretta M9s to DOD so they could be used by other branches. I was happy to hear they weren't getting destroyed because they were still serviceable at the time.

Spyderco knives are awesome. I have carried one for the last 10 years. The first one I had was stolen by the movers during one of my military moves, so I had to order another.

I think the Army made a good choice. The Coast Guard switched to the Sig P229 DAK in .40 cal back in 2006. For law enforcement missions, hollow points are used. When conducting a DOD mission, we always had your switch to a ball round in .40 cal. I like the Sig and think it's a great gun. It...

78 degrees here in south Louisiana today. Getting down to 50 tonight and then dropping to 32 tomorrow night. That's cold for us.
