Just my opinion.
I believe with the Dems in control of all 3 Legislative branches pf the government by the time they are thru with the agenda things will only get worse. I hope I'm wrong.
Same here. The issues I've had have always been with the primer pocket. But since you've already tried several types of brass I'd measure the diameter of the CCI primers and compare it to other LP primers you have on hand.
03's in any form are one of my favorite rifle. Many years ago I was lucky to find a 1926 dated National Match 03 in mint condition with Match muzzle cover and PJ O'hare micrometer sight adjuster. Haven't shot in much in the last 20 years as my old eyes have trouble with iron sights.
My wife bought me a 1000 for fathers day back in the 70's. IIRC its made by Howa. Fine shotgun for the price. Never had any problems but haven't shot it for 20+ years. Still have the original box a paperwork,
I guess I'm the odd man out. I bought a 6" Python back in 1972. Also had a 27-2. Took out he Python shot 50 rounds thru it. Just didn't like the trigger as well as my 27-2. Never fired the Python again. Sold it 2 years ago.
I tried trifocals for 6 months many years ago but couldn't get use to them. Switched to progressive poly carbine photo chromatic lenses. Took a few days to get use to them and been very happy I made the change.:p
I have a S&W MP15, a Ruger SR556 and a Colt 6920. I don'e see much of a difference in accuracy or reliability between the 3. As previously mentioned the Colt would hold its value better and easier to sell if you need $$$. So I'd go with a Colt 6920.
