Oldest gun you carry

It looks like we have a few fans of the Colt Hammerless around here.

I carry this one occasion... US Property with Ivory grips.

But I think the oldest one I've carried in the last few years is my S&W Triple Lock shipped from S&W in 1917, and that someone long before me modified to be a serious carry gun...

A shotgun is the oldest I have owned and carried. I carried it to the skeet field and sporting clays course. It was a 1873 Remington Whitmore. The breech lever pushed up instead of to the side. The hammers didn't rebound but when the breech lever was pushed up it set the hammers back so the firing pins didn't drag. Larry

I carry this beater M&P from time to time. Dates from the 'teens.

I like "beaters". If you ever decide to clear your desk top and get rid of that "beater", I'd buy it from you for the going scrap metal rate. That's just me; always here to lend a hand. ;):D

I have carried just about every gun that I own (at least once or twice). This Chief's Special has been carried a lot, and probably my most carried J frame over time.

Oldest revolver that I have carried is a Triple Lock from 1911.
Oldest semi-auto that I have carried is 1908 Colt Hammerless.

That 1957 Chief's special has ridden more miles with me than any other 'old' gun.

Only if I'm back country hiking in the nearby Appalachians, too dang big for EDC, but I hang my M57 from 1968 around my neck in a front carry.

I don't know the year it was made, but it would be my 6906.

Model 10-6 4 inch heavy barrel that I had changed to a 2 inch and converted to a bobbed DAO in a Garret IWB. Serial# is 1974-75.

Model 36 no dash when I need to carry something for protection but it wont bother me if something happens to it.
It's been around the block a few times.
