+1 for High Points. I bought a HP 9c out of curiousity, shot over 400 rds rn, hp's without a single jam. I'd carry it without hesitation (if i had a ccw and did'nt have the M&P 9c) :)

Light I have a Crimson Trace light on one of my two 9c's works great. Lights are nice but remember a light mounted on your gun will be sweeping the same point as your barrel:eek: If your going to be using it to identify a bump in the night keep that in mind.

I have bought 2 MP9c's in the past month. That definitely should not be in there. Tear it down again and shine a light in the barrel make sure it is smooth inside with NO scratches. I would guess it is from test firing the gun.

Eezox I suggest soaking down effected parts with Eezox let sit for 15 minutes then wipedown and buff hard with a dry cloth. You may have to do this several times. When you are done follow directions on can and clean/lube/protect your firearm. Check this stuff out it works better than anything...

IMO you should have got a cheap Ruger 10/22 then bought one of the many tactical mods. 10/22 is a great gun. I bought a used 10/22 for $85, Archangel 10/22 mod for $175. It took me 30 minutes to put together. $260 total and awesome! As far as ammo, all my .22's run great with CCI Mini-Mag RN...
