I put a set of XS big dots on my shield. Front sight was a bugger to remove. Had to beat the **** out of it with a steel punch. Brass punch just mushroomed. Rear sight was not as hard but you do have to make sure you do not let the spring and cap fly out, Install was a snap

Tough to do with only two mags the normal load out for IDPA is 10 rounds and 1 in the gun. Some strings of fire will require more then the two mags you have depending on the course of fire. I ran our local IDPA with my shield but I had 4 mags. I prefer my P226 for IDPA but the shield will...

I sent my 226 back to Sig and I used Fed Ex overnight express and Sig provided me with a RMA# that i put on the label. I sent it out on a Thursday and the next friday it was delivered to my house fixed. One week turnaround today is great service. Why cannot S&W do the same thing.

I would not worry about it. If you put holes in the right place it will not matter if it is +P, Hollow Point, or ball ammo. Shot placement is the key.

I do not know about S&W but I can give props to Sig Sauer. I sent in my P226 for some work and they received in on a friday and by the next thursday I had an email that it has been shipped back to me. I picked it up at the local Fed EX office that Friday One week door to door. Great service...
