    76 year-old goes down fighting

It is always said when someone loses their life over petty foolishness. However, I think Dot should have called it quits after the first robbery occurred. The media can spin this anyway they want to, but the locals are well aware of the real scoop. Dot, didn't just run a legal bingo joint. It...

cci quiet not going into breach

I believe the manual also states not to use any sub sonic ammo in these rifles, but I have been "told" the manual is outdated, and a lot of the non recommended ammo, would be ok. My buddy has a 15-22 he purchased after I did, and it came with the threaded barrel. He has no problem using the CCI...

WTS: Springfield XDS with extra mags/ holster

I thought I owned a new XDS (Chose 9mil over .40 cal) but my grips don't look that way. I am assuming that is a .45?

cci quiet not going into breach

Not sure about the OP, but I am not one to over lube. My rifle loves Winchester Super-X the most I believe. The federal bulk isn't bad, but not as good as the WS-X or the CCI Mini Mags. I do tend to have my M-4 a little more on the well lubed side, but not to the point to where liquid is...

cci quiet not going into breach

My 15-22 is brand new also. Cleaned & lubed properly before very first use, and after every use since then. From day one, it did not like the CCI QUIET-22 LR ammo. Maybe fire 1 for every 10 attempts, mostly resulting into stove pipes... jus sayin

    Questions Regarding my new build

Thanks for the input guys. I think this is going to be a longer process, but should be worth the wait!

    Questions Regarding my new build

I am in the market to build a new rifle. I wanted this rifle strictly for 300+ meter shots. Would love to work on my long range shooting, and perhaps use it for some hunting, i.e. coyotes. I am still researching different lowers, but I ran across the Daniel Defense, and was pretty impressed. I...

    CMC trigger.. curved or flat?

I think at the end of day, the curved trigger feels more natural. To a shooter that is fairly particular, the flat trigger may be distracting, while shooting. Different feel, and the flat has a longer "feeling" pull to it, as opposed to the curve gaged at the same pull weight. I actually like...

New UTG combat sniper pistol grip!

Thanks for the knowledge One eye!

    Break in?

Not to be a total ****, but it is also helpful to read the owner's manual. I always do before cleaning, and then again after a good bath, lube, & function test. Lots of simple questions can be answered, and a few situations are addressed as well, such as fte's, ftf's, jams, etc. Now, my old...

New UTG combat sniper pistol grip!

Very nice! I have also been flirting with the idea of the UTG, but wasn't sure of a few things. Does this grip come with the two holes for your safety selector spring, and the rear take down detent spring? Or, was it more custom work with the dremel? Looks great man! Kind regards.

    SAFETY LEVER PROBLEMS

Problem should be solved this evening. Just got off of the phone with Robbie Wheaton's wife of Wheaton Arms. My wife will be picking up the CMC (flat) trigger for me this evening. Going to go ahead and get some good pins while I'm at it. I know this is a good trigger, and commonly used on the...

    My Build So Far

I own a 2007 GYTR Yamaha Raptor 700 (ATV). Purchased new in 2007 for close enough to $10k. I rode it stock for a while, and then customized everything from the roota to the toota! Quad now has over $19,000 in it. I know it was silly to put so much into a quad, but it was my main hobby at the...

    SAFETY LEVER PROBLEMS

Thanks. Looking, I can see my hammer pin is not even on both sides. I'm going to pick up or order a CMC drop in trigger, and some anti walk pins tomorrow. Had I looked earlier, I could have noticed the pin's position, and searched the forum for pin issues. Instead, being simple minded, I...
