Well cancelled my Botach order since it was back ordered and I found a place that has CMC triggers in stock locally. Now I just have to figure out if I want Flat or curved trigger... What is your preference and why?

I have two of the curved & only reason I chose it was I thought the flat looked stupid. I know, not much of a reason... but you asked.

I would chose curved as my finger is round. I have never used a flat bladed trigger. I assume there is a reason for it. Sorry that I do not have personal experience to give on a flat blade. never had any reason to look for something other then curved. never had a trigger that I didn't like due to the shape. Only in it's function. Try shooting a Mossin M44 and you will know what I mean. You need to go to the gym and use the finger machine to bulk up for it  .

I think at the end of day, the curved trigger feels more natural. To a shooter that is fairly particular, the flat trigger may be distracting, while shooting. Different feel, and the flat has a longer "feeling" pull to it, as opposed to the curve gaged at the same pull weight. I actually like the look of the flat trigger, and find myself using the very bottom piece of it that angles out, instead of using the longer straight part of the trigger. I could stand either one, but again, if you are a particular person, the curved may be more suitable. I would definitely fire from something with a flat trigger, before I purchased it, and it, and didn't like it or couldn't adjust.

i have the flat on 5 AR's. just seem to like it better. Love the CMC triggers.

Flat ones here. Not sure if one is better than the other, me thinks it is more of a preference.

I like the flat triggers on competition guns. You can get the tip of your finger down on the bottom of the bar and control the squeeze nicely.

For a battle/SHTF rifle, I prefer the curved trigger bar. Get a sight picture, get your finger somewhere on the bar, and pull it. :D

Thanks for the input! Heading to the store today to pick one up.. for all I know they may only have the curved.

I've never owned anything with a flat trigger, but I have shot a couple. I agree with Dirt Dart, they are best on match guns. You can easily place your finger at the absolute bottom of the trigger, the location of maximum mechanical advantage.

maybe i like the flat trigger since i run the Stark SE-1 pistol grips on all my AR's. It is an angle changer that makes your grip more vertical instead of the wrist bent and the flat trigger is just easier to use.

Well they only have curved in stock. Talk about an easy install! This thing dropped right in.. I followed it up with some KNS anti walk pins and I am happy with the results! Can't wait to get it out to the range. Thx for all the input.

lost the C clips on a couple after years of hunting, bouncing around on the front of an ATV, still work fine, don't walk, and i dont worry about the clips. curved are great, just preferences. go for it!
