Looking for a few revolvers in SC

Hello everyone, I am looking for a few S&W revolvers, and am having trouble finding them, even though they should be pretty common. I would like: A Model 64-3 or 64-4 with the 4" barrel. A Model 10-4 thru 10-10 with 4" or longer tapered barrel. I am not looking for creampuff guns I would be...

    Model 64's?

I actually prefer the heavy barrels. The pencil barreled models are just beautiful to me.

    S&W Mdl.64

Very VERY nice collection. I am also a big M64 fan, and am always looking for 2 of the variations that you have! The 3" and the pencil barreled ones are most elusive in my part of the country.

    Movie Gun Trivia question !

Dr. Loomis had a Model 15 or 19 in the first Halloween, so I'm gonna say he would stick with S&W. I no longer have a VCR, and my copy of H5 is a tape, so I can't check, but I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it is a 659.

    My New Additions!

Very nice! I don't see too many 669's around here any more, especially in that good condition.

    Smith Wesson Model 13-2 3" I scored.

Beautiful model 13! Someone has taken very good care of it.

    I am converted

I like the .40 S&W also. I would love to have a medium frame moon-clipped revolver chambered in it. I have been on the lookout for a 4046 to go with my 5946, but cant seem to find one in my price range.

    What's your favorite Smith 9mm.........?

    I love my 5946, everything I want in a 9, nothing I don't.

    My 'bobbed' 6906.

Very nice, That should help it print considerably less.

    Model 59 Finish

If it is blued, you can remove the finish with a blue remover, sold through MidwayUSA or Brownells. I have heard that Vinegar will remove bluing also, but cannot tell you that for sure. I believe that the frames are painted on those, so a commercial paint stripper may be what you need. If you...

    Opinions on these 3 models...

I am also going to have to go with the CS9, with the 6906 in a very close second. But try them all out, and see what feels best in your hands, and what would be most comfortable for all day carry.

    Question For Ruger GP-100 Users

I have seen a few with loose crane latch pivot pins. A little dab of Loctite like tslepebull said will do ya.

    5906 safety question

My CZ75 came with safeties, but no longer has them, and the only decocker I use is my thumb.
