    Attaching sling to Sport w/paracord?

I was talking about using the holes molded in the bottom of the guard. They make rail sections made specifically to fit those. If you're wanting to put it on the side, I would consider changing out the guard to a railed one.

    Attaching sling to Sport w/paracord?

I wouldn't go that route, I just think it will look bad. I would go to GG&G or Midwest, Ind. and get one of the small aftermarket rails and attach it to the hand guard just ahead of the delta ring. Then go with a quick connect sling attachment.

Any Idea What This Might Be?

it was made by Anton Ferdinand Korinski of Bavaria. He made his guns mostly in Germany during the first world war. He's best know for his shotguns. The pistols usually aren't worth much but they're neat to have.

    Lessons from The Greatest Generation

My Grandfather once told me that a Soldier was a man that fought so he could go home, a Hero was man that fought so everyone could go home. I sure miss that mean old man.

M&P 15 Sport. 1st outing, very hot barrel normal?

The barrel does get pretty hot if you steady fire alot of rounds. The smoking makes me wonder if you cleaned the shipping oil off really good before taking it to the range (you should). If you didn't, that same eccess of oil is in the gun and can cause feed problems after several rounds...

    Southerner's Rules of Survival

Southerner’s Rules of Survival 1. It doesn’t matter how many guns you got; it matters how much ammo you have. 2. It won’t matter how big your gun is if you don’t know how to use it. 3. Guns don’t kill; bullets do. 4. The best place for ammo is in your gun. 5. The best made plan only works...

    18-3 Age ?

I believe the Model 18-3's were only made from 1967 to 1973 or 74. I think the S/N would put you in the 67 or 68 range. I can't swear to any of that, though.

    Lemon Squeezer

Don't quote me on this; but I believe the "lemon Squeezer" was last produced about 1974 and was the model 42. I can't read the model number in that picture, but the year range for that particular gun starts back in the late 1800's. It may be worth something if it's old enough. The model...

    Commercials/Ads

Hmm; guess I'm behind the times. I love those banners and such on the sides of my screen on these forums. I've found several nice websites and companies to do business with from them. Don't tell anyone; I don't want to be the odd-ball here.
