I have a 6" six shot 617, no lock, and I love it. Great to shoot and definitely prefer the feel of the six shot over a ten shot. If I could find a 4" no-lock, I would jump on that as well. WJR

I have one and really like it. Never could get myself to carry my 686s with a 3" barrel, so I sold them. I do not feel guilty about the GP100. WJR

I took my 6" 617 to the range yesterday and it shot like a dream. The first time I have shot a 617 and it was everything I thought it would be in regards to accuracy and pure fun. WJR

Sounds like a good deal. Here in the deep south, I see them for around that price or a touch higher at $ 450. WJR
