I'm a quality over quantity guy, so I probably didn't buy as much as some of you did last year. Only high end and/or collectible stuff for me these days (other than the Hellcat)

In no particular order...

Springfield Armory Hellcat (wanted a new carry gun)

Pardini GT-9 Silver

Smith & Wesson 52

Korth PRS

Atlas Gunworks Hyperion (incredible pistol)

Walther Q5 Match SF Pro

Smith & Wesson PC V Comp

Arex Rex Alpha

Sig P220 X Six

Sig Sauer P210 Super Target

Colt Combat Python

Colt Python

Pardini GT9 Inox (1 of 40 made)

Walther P88 Champion

Bren Ten Special Forces Light

Hudson H9

CZ TS Czechmate

Smith & Wesson K22 Outdoorsman

CZ Shadow 2 Orange

Phoenix Redback (finest pistol to ever to use the CZ design)

Beretta 92X Performance

So I bought several in 2020 during a mandated government paid 2 month vacation due to CV19.

Thank God firearms are considered "essential " and nothing else much was open. :) Perfect time to hunt for Colts.

But the "best ", for me anyway, was this delightful Colt Model M Pocket Hammerless from 1928 in .380. I came upon it somewhat accidentally, and paid the princely sum of $400 plus tax. :)

And the second "best " for me was locating a 2004 Colt 1911a1 1943/WW2 reproduction in 95% condition. Not many of these put out from Hartford, and they're true Custom Shop guns, from a time when they were turning out great 1911s.

There were a couple of others, but these 2 were "best " and items I'd sought for awhile.

All of my best handguns except one, were bought in 2020. Retirement, and the social distancing mandated by COVID-19 put a lot of time on my hands; I managed to visit a few gun shops and gun shows at the right times, and dipped into some retirement money. I've posted pics of all of them here and there, but I've bought a M28-2, a M57 no dash, a M29-2, a M66-1 and a M48-4 from Dec 2019 to Jan 2021, as well as a SxS CZ shotgun.

I THINK my best 2020 guns were all Colts.

NIB 2nd gen 45 LC.

Colt Det Spl inscribed Col. PD No.1004 shipped 1934

and an all original etched panel SAA shipped in 1881 with holster - Great bore!
.

And there then was a mint 1956 sav 99F in 243.

There was one Smith and Wesson that snuck in the back door.

I sold a lot more than I bought in 2020. That said, I made a few nice additions that will be enjoyed.

CMMG Banshee 9mm that takes Glock mags - This is my wife’s home defense firearm. I finally found something she LOVES to shoot. It came with a bunch of mags, the Vortex red dot, light and 1000 rounds. One of my best purchases ever from a practical standpoint. It has been reliable and a bunch of fun.

S&W 331 TI - I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this last summer at the LGS. I simply told my guy to set that one back while I go to the bank. It is my go to for lightweight carry. Functions flawlessly with a nice, smooth trigger.

Weatherby Deluxe in 270 Winchester - Somebody wanted my X-bolt stalker more than me after I tagged out for deer season...so I sold it. I went to the LGS with money burning a hole in my pocket. The Weatherby caught my eye and was marked down, and I’ve been wanting a 270 for awhile, so she came home with me. I already had a scope looking for a new home. The universe aligned on this one. Sweet trigger out of the box!
