I owned a Corbin C tool, but never used it,no instruction were included. A nearby commercial reloader did a big batch of 45-70 that needed a cannelure because of recoil. He placed the nose of a loaded round against the stop, then using a loose projectile as a guide, adjusted the stop out until the tool would indent the outside of the case just below the base of the bullet. I believe Corben intendded that the Cannelure be placed on the bullet for the case mouth to crimp into.
If this isn't enough info, try to contacting the manufacturer.
I try to adjust the sizing of the case mouth to have 3 to 5 .001" of neck tention on high recoil loads, or if it is a black powder round, the powder column supports the bullet during recoil. hope this helps,Ivan the Butcher

c&h makes them ... i picked 1 up for i think 67 bucks...
go to cast boolet. com and go to the swedging forum and do a serch....
they work kind of near . i was going to build ` , but for the money , i didnt mess with it

I have seen the one offered by CH and it made me think of a tiny can opener. It worked pretty good but it was slow. If you are talking about rifle bullets then the Lee (rifle) Factory Crimp Die does a pretty good job of pushing in the case mouth to set a crimp. Ranch Dog has Lee make special order versions in bulk of the rifle FCD’s made for .357, .41, .44, and .45 and sells them on his website. Some added info on what bullets, cartridges, gun, or whatever else might help others make better suggestions to help solve your problem.

here is how i set mine up ... i loaded up a dummy round . made it to the c.o.l. . then took a sharpy and marked where the bullet and the case were. made a ring around it so you can see the ink on both . ... them pulled the bullet and set it and adj. to that...
