I have a model 60-9 .357 that the hammer spur has been removed, would like to find a replacement hammer. The standard frame hammers do not fit. as the main spring strut and the hammer block is different.
Any ideas where I could go for parts, have been searching the net but so far no luck.

I’ve generally gotten hammers off ebay. You will need to educate yourself on the difference between a J-magnum hammer and the old hammer-nose style… plus also there is a small difference between lock and pre-lock hammers, tho they both should work.

Most auctions will tell you what gun it came off. 60-9 or 60-10 hammers should be just right for you. NOT anything older; anything newer will be for the lock but will still work.

Just checked, the one on ebay from irwin_fletcher will work; it is a lock style but will still work.

Look at the pic of the left side; see the curved track with the notch by one end? No-lock hammers don’t have the notch.
