The 7.5 inch Barreled 460 S&W Magnums
The 460 S&W Magnum has been in production since 2005 and a number of models have been produced with 7.5 inch barrel length. We will include the first production model in this group who’s advertise barrel length is 8.38 inches which includes it interchangeable muzzle break; it actual effect length is 7.5 inches.
I will present them by year of introduction.
SKU 163460 was introduced in 2005 as a standard product offering. The revolver features an 8.38-inch barrel length* with an interchangeable muzzle brake, one for use with cast lead and the other for jacketed bullets. The revolver is 15 inches in length and weighs 72.2 ounces and carries black synthetic grips. Included are two rear sights and a front red ramped sight. The gun is stainless steel, has a satin finish, and comes in a blue hard polymer case. This model is referred to as the 460 XVR, for Extreme Velocity Revolver.

SKU 150049 thru 150098 were introduced in 2006 as a fund-raising effort with Whitetails Unlimited. A separate SKU is applied to each state which is engraved on the barrel shroud. The Whitetails Unlimited logo is also engraved in gold on the side plate. The serial number of these offerings start with WTU.
