Looking for a barrel bushing for a FN 1910 (Browning) .380. This is the small knurled ring with the two small bayonet lugs that fit into the inside of the slide. I know this is a long shot, as neither Numrich or Popperts have any. I don't know the part # as the schematic at Numrich shows the 1922 model, and not the 1910 model. Any help appreciated. Doesn't have to be new, I need one for a machinist buddy to work with to make a custom spanner tool to facilitate the removal and installation of the bushing. If you have ever field stripped one you know what I mean wanting a special tool.

I just got the same part from Commemorative Arms, he was the only one who had it in stock and most other parts for the 1910. The owner Nicholas was great to deal with.

Before spending time and money for a bushing and "special tool" try this. Go to your local auto parts store and buy (they might even give you a scrap) a 4" long piece of 1/2 auto heater hose. Cut the end square and use it to push on the bushing and turn it. There is nothing your machinist friend can make that will work better, and the rubber won't damage the bushing in any way!

I have been using this for years, so if you come back and say it doesn't work I will know you didn't believe me and didn't really try it!

The Heater Hose trick sounds like it should work great! I'll try this first. torizus, I called Commerative, and they have them is stock. I may order one just to have a spare, I did launch the one on the gun across my loading room while putting it in place. Thanks so much, I printed out the schematic also.

ALK8944, Thank you. I just happened to have a piece of 1/2" garden hose so I cut a chunk off and it worked great. That makes putting the 1910 back together MUCH easier.
