    Model 16-4 4" FWIW

    Gunmasters in Plano, Texas has a 16-4, 4 inch for $750. It appears unfired. Just to let you know about a beautiful revolver. I have no interest in this gun. I am passing the information along to fellow board members.

    It would be a great idea to make a visit today; I have not seen a 6.5" 624 in a long time. However, compared to a recent 4" 686 that went for $495 +tax, I think you have located a good buy.

    Thoughts on N-Frame Holsters

    +1 for the Galco Silhouette. I carry a 629 mountain 44 magnum or a 24 with no problem. Enough belt is critical and suspenders would be a good idea.

    629-4 Mountain Gun

    I have a 629-4, it has the pencil barrel like yours but it is not marked "Mountain Gun" . However, it came factory ported with a non-fluted cylinder. I really like it and use it for carry purposes from time to time.
