I'd hate to get shot with either one!

    M&P 357sig/40 vs 45

I think Speedguner hit it on the head - the M&P 45 seems a little big to me for a ten round pistol. The 40W&W is a much "handier' gun, and holds a few more rounds. I don't have a 357 M&P, so I can't comment directly, but it is the same size and has the same capacity of the 40 so it should be a...

    .38 S&W

My Lyman #43 lists starting load for the 38S&W of 2.0 of Bullseye for a 125g lead round nose. The max load is listed at 3.0g. It shows the same start and max load for 135, 148 and 150g lead bullets.

Midway Rainier plated bullets vs. jacketed?

I have not experienced a problem with leading with either the Ranier or the Berry plated bullets. Both shoot very clean, but I load to relatively low velocity. Personally, I have had better luck with Berry bullets; I always use the "double struck" and they are just as accurate as lead in most...

Dustpan for brass collecting brass at the range

I think this is something that OSHA is hitting all over the country. Our indoor range just did away with the brooms and now has an employee do it with the mask. Sure makes it tough to pick up your brass!

    Thoughts On A K-38

I normally pay about $20 shipping and $25 FFL transfer fee if I buy a gun online. That means your looking at finding a K-38 for $455 on one of the auction sites. Also, a lot of the auction sellers won't ship to CA even if the gun is on the approved list. I'm not so sure it is that bad a deal...

Norville: One of the benefits of membership in the Smith and Wesson Collectors Association is the ability to check shipping dates. Go to the SWCA Public area in this forum, and check out the information on joining. It is a great association, and I highly recommend it.

Advice needed: 32 S&W short reloading

I have not loaded the short, but I have had good luck with the Berrys bullets on the 32 S&W Long. I've used both the 96g RNFP lead and the 83g DEWC for my K-32. Both are good bullets, but the lead has been a little more accurate for me. Here is a link to the website...

Model 59 7.65 (30 Luger) Caliber..... Please comment

Great gun! You should think about a factory letter on this one. I think the the 30 Luger is not uncommon in export guns. Browning made some Hi-powers in that caliber also. I will tell you I hate to load the 30 Luger - between the bottleneck case and the small bullet I've never found them...

Need Help; Lee Powder Die in Hornady LnL...

Check this out dmar: Hornady Powder Cop Die - MidwayUSA This is the Hornady powder cop, you only need one and it is good for all calibers. Dillon, RCBS and others make them also. If you use it, you have to give up the factory crimp die and crimp in the bullet seating station. I try not to...

    M&P or Glock

I have both a G23 and an M&P40. I also have small hands and find that ability to change the grip backstrap is a big plus for me. With the small backstrap the gun fits my hand perfectly, the Glock is a little to big for me. Also, the trigger on the M&P seems much smoother to me; this could be...

Need Help; Lee Powder Die in Hornady LnL...

I use Lee four die sets with the factory crimp die for most pistol calibers. Johngalt is absolutely right about them being a little short, but they work just fine. They are also a lot cheaper then the Hornady dies. Just use the Lee powder through expander die to expand the brass. The Hornady...

    J-frame, 22cal?

I've gotta agree with you Sonny, at 11 oz. that 43C looks like a great kit gun. Less then half the weight of the stainless 63, and 8 rounds to boot.

Looking at 2nd and 3rd generation 9mm pistols

I would say the 3906 is a little big for a single stack 9MM, go with the 3913. You will be very happy with that gun, it is a lot like you 39, but with the 3rd Gen improvements. Why not just stick with your 39?

Bullseye Competition load for 9mm, is there such a beast??

I have used this Alliant load as a starting point for my 115g loads. Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide After some experimentation I have found that 4.2g cycles fine and is an accurate load. At least this will give you a starting point. Good luck!
