    Price on Sigmas and SD's

Picked up mine for $395 + tax 2 weeks ago here in NE NC. Buds would have been about $30 bucks cheaper (the tax), but I prefer to spend locally if it's close.

I need your advice in regards to my dog

If you can still have some "quality" time, I would take it. My dear friend Chance passed this past Saturday, quietly next to my bed. He was an almost 14 year old white shepherd mix we rescued when he was a couple months old. Usual age problems, but nothing serious, and I even played with him...

What do pay for auto/truck license plates?

I just did my '07 Highlander, and it was $20 (non-vanity) for 1 year. Inspection was somewhere around $11.00, and the separate vehicle tax was about $80. This was in NC.

    Humidity effect?

I have had a small banner telling me that I have not posted in a while. As a newer gun owner, it's because I feel like a freshman in a Doctoral class, thanks for all the info, it's been very helpful. Now to my dumb question. It's the time of year where I spend a considerable amount of time...

It's the same as catching Marlins here, catch and release. I don't get it, except with the fish of course. :D

    Poor grammar?

Pick and choose very carefully here. My wife does the "supposably" like Barbs hubby, and I just let it go, now going on 33 years. I presume that she knows you have guns, and no complaints there, so I'll let her "seen" anything she wants to. :)

    Shooting glasses after cataract surgery...

Go see your optician that made your prescription glasses. They can make you a pair of plano lenses in polycarbonate or trivex, same optical quality as prescription and the same scratch resistance. Most will carry some type of sport frame that you can use and be comfortable in. Under no...

It’s coming but the hysteria is here already

Here on the coast we don't usually see snow. They said this AM we will have 15 ft. seas, beating up the beaches again. If we so much as see a flake, everything shuts down for days, so the heck with the milk, off to get more beer.

    Lasik

That sounds like cataract surgery, Lasik is a refractive surgery. Lasik should last for years, depending on how old you are now. When we get to our 40's, we all develope a near point problem (presbyopia ), while lasik corrects our distance vision. If you are in your 20's-30's, and no Rx...

    Polarized Sun Glasses

A tad late here, but maybe I can help, as I'm in the optical biz. First, there is a definate difference in the quality of the optics between a $15 pair and a $200 pair. Raybans are in fact a great value. Most of their polorized are glass lenses, and will be marked with a "P" on the lens...
