I am trying to decide on the 105 vs the 405 for my J. The price difference is about $150. Is the 405 that much better?

Walmart here has nothing on its shelves. They got in one 15-22 and it lasted an hour. Went into the Scheels and found limited ammo but a bunch of Ruger 10/22s and 4 15-22s. Too bad but I'm good for 22 rifles.

1968 in Albuquerque...went to Philmont.

Here in Utah the highs have been in the mid 20s with the low in the single digits. Having moved from Hawaii I am envious. I remember the days when I needed to put on my ski jacket in Hawaii because the temp got below 70.:)

The stores here look very bare. There are only a few boxes of 22 ammo anywhere. No 556/.223 to be found. The gun racks look decimated also. People are going crazy!

Thanks to everyone...the gun range sounds good as the ranges here are more expensive. Maybe I can find something I haven't shot yet.
