I have had both pistols and have to give it to the Glock side. I feel the Glock had a superior build quality and had the reputation as a primary pistol. But the Glock or M&P pale in comparison to my H&K P30. If I was to stake my life on a single pistol, the H&K would be king.

Why not consider a real firearm, an H&K. I would put my H&K up against either pistol any day.

M&P 22 pistol is in a class by itself. The only other pistol that looks worth buying is the Ruger SR22.

The answer is simple, carry gun oil to the range. If the brass isn't shooting far enough, lube it a little. I have several thousand shots through mine and haven't had an issue since. BTW, after several brands of ammo, my favorite for the M&P 22 is CCI Blazer.

It's funny that people who think Glock fans have never shot an M&P. On the contrary, I have shot several caliber M&Ps and still feel the Glock is superior. If I could afford it, I would own all H&Ks. It's not just the name but the superior design and build of the gun. I do have older S&W...

Glock all the way. I have 3 Glocks, G21, G23, G26 and all are fantastic. I looked at M&P before I purchased an H&K and haven't looked back. I thought the M&P was nice, but the H&K and Glocks were superior.

My shield .40 cal arrived today at the local gun shop. I was so excited I left with a Glock 23. Sorry shield guys, I felt the Glock was far superior for $100 more. More parts, undeniable reliabilty, maybe the shield in a few years.

I was going to buy the M&P then I found the Glock 21 Gen 4. Although the M&P is a great gun, I felt the Glock was just a little better.

I have an M&P 22 with 9mm rear sight installed. Not sure if front sight from the 9mm is compatible. I have one, but the fit seems much different.

I have three Smith and Wessons: 38 Special Model 10-6, 38 Special Model 36 and a M&P 22, But....My H&K P30 is a serious weapon and still my favorite of the bunch...hate to rain on anyone's parade.

:D Just ordered and received four new magazines for my M&P 22. It's a little hard to find on S&W's website, but here's the direct link. Item: M&P 22LR Magazine 12 RD Four extra magazines are just about perfect. With the factory magazine, 60 shots of uninterrupted fun at the range.

I bought this gun two weeks ago and love every minute shooting it. I've put over 500 rounds through it without issue. I just received four new magazines for it direct from Smith and Wesson...
