I know at the range I used to work at, people would sneak in with .223 cal and shoot holes thru the plates on the pistol range. I would sure call it hi power. Pete

Thinking about getting an A2 stock to try on my sport. Will the A2 with it's spring and buffer work ok on the carbine? I can get a Colt complete stock or a DPMS complete. Any problems with this swap ? I had heard the gas pressure was highter on the carbine and am not sure about the A2 spring...

A gunsmith could probably silver solder a piece of rail on it for the red dot....you could mount a red dot anywhere and be ok, I think. If you gonna po boy it, U could use good ole J B weld !!! Then you could use any old aluminum rail. That stuff does the job. Good luck, Pete

I put a Redfield 2 x 7 on mine using a Sniper mount off e bay. No spacers needed. Zeroed the open sites first and just folded down the rear to mount the scope. If needed, can easily remove the Sniper mount with scope attached....2 poly nuts that are hand tight...easy, like quick release, to get...

Where is the best place to get a parts kit for emergencies ? What is the most likely need to be...a lower parts kit? Also...on the Sport, is the buffer tube/receiver extention tube a commercial one or mil-spec? What's the difference? Thanks, Pete

I had problems with the second round on some 20 rnd p-mags I ordered. Would not pick it up...the bolt closed on an empty chamber. I ordered a couple metal stoner mags and all works good. Good Luck....Pete ps: the 30 rnd pmag that came with the rifle works good.

Looks to me like #7 round did not fire. He ejected it. The bullet may have been stuck in the rifling and stayed there. Chambering a new round may have shoved it forward. An effective squib or blockage. This would be one hard to figure out situation....unless you would have seen that a complete...

Bought 2 - 20 round Pmags and have problems with both not feeding and bolt riding over the rounds. This happens frequently on 2nd or 3rd shot. Cannot see any problems by eye, as they look good. Anyway, I ordered two SS Stoner mags from Midway, made in USA and supposed to be super mags. Will see...

I got the Redfield Revolution 2x7x33....fits perfectly on the Viper mount. Can leave the rear BUS on and folded down. Redfield is American made and priced rite !

2 point sling I am taking your advice on this....ordered a USA GI silent sling...black, 1 1/4" wide. Keeping it simple sounds good to me . Now all I need is a rifle...ha ha. ($8.90 on Ebay) Thanks for all the info Pete

Can anyone give a suggestion for a good 2 point sling? I think this type will work best for me. Got a lot of 'em out there too .... I don't know what type of attachment points there are on a stock 15 Sport. I may need to get something to hook the sling to also. Thanks, Pete

Got mine ordered. I have ordered a 2x7 Redfield scope (made in USA) for it. $168 plus a $30 rebate. Got the Sniper mount already. I want to keep it light and easy to carry. I only need a sling now. Thanks, Pete

Thanks for all the info. Think I like the quick detach PEPR knockoff mount with a 1x4 or a 6x Burris scope. Pete
