Has anyone ever seen a FDE short mag?

Some of the aftermarket AR rimfire uppers don't play well with a notched hammer. M&P 15-22 I have no idea. My DPMS 22lr runs best with a non notched hammer.

The 15lb tumbler is really not all that big. I have no idea how it would work with a one piece baffle, but if I had a one piece, I would purchase the 15 lb model to insure there was plenty of room for tumbling.

I never heard of this method. I just started using Froglube and really like it except for the cost. Using the wife's oven is not and option in my house. It would be like her asking if she could re-pot some plants on my reloading bench!

I use a Thumler Tumbler with stainless steel pins to clean my SWR Spectre. I clean about every few bricks and it does not take long to really make the baffles shine.

Use a China marker in the color you desire. Fills lettering great and clean up with 99 percent Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. 99 percent highly flammable. Be careful until it evaporates. Re oil any steel as the oil will be removed.

$525 was the going price for a FDE in my area. I paid $595 for my MOE FDE during the panic in January. Prices in my area have pretty much returned to prepanic prices. Now if the ammo would start to return!

Spend the $$$ on a stainless suppressor. They hold up over time and are easy to clean. False economy to spend bottom dollar on a cheap can. It will not pay off and trying to sell it will return nothing. Rimfire cans are a blast and get used alot. Enjoy. SWR Spectre on a MKIII 22/45.

I live in a free state and can own any capacity. I prefer the 10 rounders. The grandkids do not go thru the ammo near as fast with a ten and they work great off the bench. I do own twenty five rounders for those times I want to shoot at the steel.

Hate to see someone mess up a barrel by using improvised tools when the specific tool is available at a low cost.

Washer and a precision machined spacer are two different parts. I would err on the side of caution and spend a few bucks for a spacer designed just for this problem. All my longer host that are factory threaded are too long. As someone else mentioned, handguns are good to go.
