Rifle brass gets the homemade lube, 90% ISO-heet gas treatment mixed with 10% pure lanolin. The pistol rounds get a very light coating of Hornady One-shot as they are going through carbide dies. The One-shot makes re-sizing much easier.

I'm pretty much done with bare cast bullets. The coated or plated bullets work much better for me.

I use the PTX setup for .40 and .38. I use a Lyman M die for .30 carbine. My PTXs work great. Here is a write up I did about making the AP run better: The rest of the thread, which has some good info, can be found on your favorite black rifle website..;)

Option C doesn't work. No such thing as size/expand in the same die. On my Hornady AP loading .38 it goes: 1. Decap/FL size 2. Open 3. Powder through/Expand 4. Bullet feed 5. Seat/Crimp Many prefer to seat and crimp separately. Rifle ammo needs to be done in two passes.
