If you have a leather holster it shouldn't be an issue. The leather is forgiving and can be remolded. If it's Kydex/Plastic it may be an issue. Kydex is thermo molded to the exact pistol. The ejection port and the accessory rails will be the areas of greatest difference. Here to you can modify it with a heat gun.

Also, the compact 2.0 and the glock trigger guard is different and will cause a misfit.......Tried to put a Shield in a Glock 26 kydex holster...fit good except for the trigger guard......the compact is rounded the glock is squared off.....

I tried it with my 4” 2.0 in holsters I had for a G23 & it didn’t work out. I didn’t want to force it & damage the holsters. It felt like the 2.0 was wider than the Glock

FYI! Many Kydex holsters for a Glock 19 will "NOT" fit a Glock 19X due to the right hand added slide release (which does stick out a bit), but if the Kydex will not go past the area where the right slide lever is then it will fit!

If it's Kydex (as opposed to Injection Molded Plastic, You CAN reshape any areas of conflict using a Hair Dryer (heat gun) and an Oven Mitt.

Kydex is very flexible and forgiving when heated.
As mentioned, the trigger guard and ejection port are the areas Kydex holsters use for retention. Heat those areas, insert the pistol and use the Oven Mitt to rub those areas. It may take several heatings to get it just right.

Just as an example, I've successfully enlarged a Kydex holster designed for a PF-9, to accept my Shield in about 10-15 min. You could easily reshape the trigger guard and ejection port areas of a G19 Kydex holster to accept an M&Pc.
