Bodyguard 2.0 Lasers
I emailed Armalaser, my favorite trigger guard laser maker, and I got this response today:
Hi Scott,
Thank you for reaching out to ArmaLaser. We are currently working on a laser for the Bodyguard 2.0 and hope to have it available this spring.
Sincerely,
ArmaLaser Inc.

[my first post]
This is great.
I am hoping they offer both red and green laser unit options.
Thanks for sharing.

Having a laser will be SO much better than that tiny front sight and exceeding wide (For no reason) rear! After hundreds of years Smith & Wesson decide they're going to re-invent rear sights, and give us a 2x wider view so we'll have no idea where we're shooting?
There's a lot to like about the BG2, so I'll be patient and wait for the laser, then order new holsters etc.

Not having a BG 2.0 I was unaware there was no rail: I deleted my post. Mea culpa...
Cheers!
P.S. The Crimson Trace 207 Laser/Light at under $61 is STILL an awesome deal!

I have 3 green lasers on 3 difference firearms, and they are such an improvement for me to quickly locate a target.
I believe the premise for S&W to have a wider than typical rear sight slot was to be able to quickly find the front sight in a short distance defense encounter. The problem for me is 1 – the front sight should have been big and green. And 2 – the rear sight should be white dotted. I could not find the rear sight quick enough.
For targets beyond 21 feet, a tight slot in the rear sight of course should make for more accurate POI.
The comments on the XS Sight option appears to be very good.
I’m also very eager to get a green ArmaLaser, grip activated unit.

As of yesterday, Midway USA had 'em: red laser/light, FDE version...
Good Luck!
Cheers!

Hey, folks,
Back on 12Feb, I received an email response to my specific inquiry about a green laser with the following:
"We are hoping to have a laser out for the Bodyguard 2.0 within the next 2-3 months."
As we know, release dates for new stuff is often up in the air, but I thought I would share.
