Looking to order KNS Non-Rotating Trigger/Hammer Pins
and have not measured the pin diameters. Does anyone know what size M&Ps are? Are they .154 or .155 Thanks

Sport pin is .154. That being said the .155 pin will fit. I use a RRA National Match 2-Stage trigger which uses the .155 pin and it went in no problem.

I have a M&P 15 Sport added KNS Hammer and Trigger Pin 2nd Generation, 2nd Modification Non Rotating AR-15 Small Pin .154". Fit perfect. Now if your gun is old and has had considerable amount of rounds run through it, yes you might need .155. Running full auto are a suppressor can wobble out the trigger and hammer pin holes. But the .154 will work well. Hope this helps.

.154 and .155 are essentially the same. One thousandth of an inch is less than a human hair. Large pin (on Colt's) are .170.

Thanks guys! I figured it was the .154 pin. I knew the Colts use the .170 or used to anyway. Its a new gun with just under a 1000 rounds and my pins are walking themselves out during normal shooting so this is a must have for me.

When you added the KNS did you notice any difference or were you trying to fix a situation. I have looked at them and thought about getting them but I dont have anything broke there to fix.

I notice a smoother trigger pull but that is about it. I liked the idea that the pins were hardened stainless and that the pins will not rotate at all, wearing out my receiver. Was not trying to fix any problems.

They are really to keep your pins from walking out. As for additional benefits I have never tried a set When I get mine im going to polish them with flitz, cant hurt!

I do agree with the idea it also keeps the pins from walking out, but the pins do rotate. The one that rotates the most is the hammer pin do to the force of the bolt coming back and friction applied to the pin from that force. The Trigger pin no such force from the pull of your finger. I just put them on there as a precaution and they look good.:)

I keep thinking I want them on the CyberSport, mostly because they do look cool LOL but when it comes to pulling the trigger on the purchase I keep backing out....someday I wont be backing out. Once your rifle gets so heavy a little additional weight is not that big a deal...LOL

Yes they do look cool lol. I also keep backing out because its not something I really want to spend money on but looks like im going to have to. I keep watching ebay and other places to try and score a deal. I also im thinking of going with the ALG trigger which is basically a smoothed out stock setup thats been tuned by Geissele Automatics and electroless Nickel plated. Reported to be a little lighter and smoother but still retains dependabilty of a stock setup.
