I'm just curious did MMC ever make any sights for the second gen pistols like the 645 or even some of the third gen models before they went down the toliet?

In a search I did yesterday for the MMC company showed many unhappy customer stories, some lost their slides they sent in for installations. Couldn't locate the company as they maybe defunct due to poor business practices.

What I did find was from wikipedia...Miniature Machine Corporation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Miniature Machine Corporation (MMC) is (was?) a Nevada based corporation specializing in the design and manufacture of tactical weapons and weapon accessories.[2] Founded in 1959, the company is best known for their line of adjustable tactical sights used by military and law enforcement agencies throughout the world. The company also has purchased the inventory and patents of Innovative Weaponry, Inc., makers of the PT Night Sight line of products. The company has administrative and manufacturing facilities in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, Nevada.

This company, as of 2009, was taking in work, and funds for the work, and never returning parts or money.

It appears they are now out of business.

Indeed but I did find a brochure from them from the 1980's on gunbroker, but couldnt really tell from the photos if there was any for the second gen's like they used to make in 62' like the one on my fathers steel frame 39 that was exactly like the one on a PPK I found here.

Yes I know but I know they were in business and making sights in the 80's and early 90's and I'm wondering if anyone ever had one on a 645 or another second gen gun so I can see how it looked on them.

MMC's on 1006
Factory's on 1066

hmm so it looked like a cross between the smith and wesson target sights and the novak ones, Neat!

Yes they did, I had them on both my 4516s and Shorty 45s. I've still got three or four of them that I don't use anymore.

They made good products, but they got into the 'no customer service' thing and it killed them. Pity too.
