OK, just hanging out post-Christmas festivities and thought I would give us all a little "soup" starter:

If someone stopped by your place and gave you a $1,000 and the criteria were:

1] you must buy an SW.
2] its OK if you have some change left over
3] you can't go over
4] whatever it is, you can find it and you must buy before midnight tonight (figuratively speaking).

............what would you get?

Right away, my first thought would be to (finally!) get my grail gun, a 640ND. Should be well within the limit with money leftover.

1. S&W m29-10 44magnum, 6.5" Barrel in nickel. Or any dash number in nickel.

Gun shops are closed.

Another Model 60 with a 2 1/2" barrel. I already have one, and it is the perfect size revolver for me to carry these days.
It can shoot .357 mags,,but it is hard to hang onto it.
Brutal with a huge of flame!
