I have bought several M&P's this year. Just picked up the M&P 9C last weekend, used, from a great dealer. Obviously does not qualify for the magazine rebate. Gun came with one mag with the finger rest base, the other did not. I called Smith on Thursday and asked if I could buy a finger rest base. The CS person I talked to, Patrick, just asked for my address and said he'd drop one in the mail to me. Thanks go out to Smith and Wesson's C.S. and to Patrick.

I found much of the same from Smith & Wesson as well.
warrenty or not... they have stood behind their guns!

I bought a "slightly" used 40c at a gun show with the receipt from shop that sold it to me. I sent in the receipt along with the rebate form and got $50 back. If you don't tell S&W, I won't either.
 
Kind of funny in that I sent CS an email last December regarding a problem and a recall on my used 469 I picked up last year. I did not hear from them at all, so this past spring I contacted LSG, and it was fixed in less than a week.
But just this past week, out of the blue, I got a response to that December email from S & W customer service saying call them.
 
I guess I should call S&W again. I called with the same request to buy a finger rest base and they told me it was complimentary. Still haven't received it but called before chriswolf68 did.
