There may be used quad rails being sold off from people wanting to use the new M-LOK rail on the 15-22 Sport. Otherwise, checkout Tacticool22 for a barrel nut adapter that will allow standard AR rails to fit a 15-22.

If you've got an mlok I'd be interested in a trade... Pm me if interested.

Where can the mlok hand guard be bought? I have the first gen 15-22 and would like to upgrade it to the mlok so I can add the amount of picatinny rail that I want on it.

IT CANNOT BE BOUGHT!
Unless you buy the new 15-22 or find someone willing to swap.
Or get a barrel nut adapter and then you are free to choose which AR handguard you want.

I highly doubt S&W will ever make the Mlok swap out available to those of us with the quad rail.

Thanks GhostMutt. I'm new to the 15-22 but so far I'm really liking it. I got the older one new but it was new old stock that a local pawn/gun shop had left. I don't mind having the quad rail but I like the look and being able to add the picatinny rail where I wanted it. I will end up with another before to long anyways.

I plan to do a slide fire stock on this one with a few other add ons. Then I want another one that I can still have the factory adjustable stock and other things for more accurate shooting.

It is a fantastic rifle, bit of an enigma but a real pleasure to own :D
Have a good read through the threads on here you will find lots of useful info.
The key points to remember are :- ANY work done on the upper/barrel. It is the barrel which must be clamped/viced. NOT the handguard. You can cause serious damage to the upper. Cleaning wise do not go crazy with oil/lube, i have found that other than using oil to clean the stubborn bits the only part of the rifle that needs to be regularly (but lightly) oiled are the guide rails on the bolt assembly.
There are a few other things to note but they can be found by reading or asking on the forum. The peeps on here are for the most part really helpful. I have found them to be a great source of info. I am sure you will to.
Happy shooting :)

I bought a MOE in FDE and it came with a quad rail. I know that's not what you want to hear, but there might be an outside chance you might get one from Smith. It is a long shot at best, but won't hurt to try.

As mentioned above using the Tacticool barrel nut gives you the option to put any AR thread on / float tube on your rifle. You need the replacement nut and a tool to remove the stock nut.
