First Off, Let me tell you I trust mine. I just put a ziplock baggie of random 10-30 year old 22LR through mine.

Also,

Zombies have a single on/off switch that is vulnerable to 22LR and I am going to need my 9mm in Bartertown.

That is all, over.

ETA:To be honest I didn't put anything through it that didn't at least look ok.

Your post reminds me that when I shot mine for the first time, I grabbed a box of Federal bulk pack I had on hand. I later realized that I had purchased it in 1992.

I love how guns and zombies go hand in hand haha. I think a huge plus for the 15-22 is how light the weapon and ammo are to carry on long marches haha. I'd SBR it to make it even lighter if it came to that. That could be a fun thread. Arguing over which 15-22 in the picture thread would be best for zombie invasion time lol.

According to the Zombie Survival Guide you should not discount the venerable .22 round.

Yes, I was very pleased to see the author recognized the value of a .22 in any upcoming zombie apocalypse.

(I had a funny moment the other day, we got a message from the local utilities that we should boil our water for the next two days, a few hours after that the cable TV and internet went out on our street, the fist thing I thought was "Zombie Apocalypse!").

The real reason I bought one -- I saw a magazine ad with a pic of the 15-22. Right then I said to myself "Heck yes... I'm ordering one of those today."

A HUGE reason I bought mine was reading this forum and checking out the picture thread!

With over a quarter million views from all over the planet, I reckon our pic thread is popular among potential buyers.

Main reason I bought mine was it looks like a AR-15 and is Hell of a lot cheaper to shot.

My wife ended up liking mine and got her own.
I like the aftermarket goodies you can find for it. It's almost like a car, lol

One thing that does tickle my mind is why a lot of people add lights to it and all this other fancy stuff.

I am having a hard enough time picking from a Scope or a red dot. LOL
I almost want two just to have both lol

Im running Magpul XTM Dark Earth rail covers, a Dark earth stock, as well as a Dark Earth vertical foregrip(with storage in the handle), with a 4 1/2 inch long 50MW Green Laser, a 5 inch suppressor along with a 3-9X40 scope. My Quake "the Claw" 3 point sling and my Harris Bipod are on their way along with the picatinny rail adapter. But thanks for reminding me that I still need to buy a Tactical light lol.

In all seriousness I shoot in competitions for the .22 caliber class from time to time at my local gun range( just for fun mostly), but some times for cash, some times for store credit at the range. But the actual reason I have all of this stuff is the matches range from 150 or so yards up to 200+, thus the scope, and bipod.

Some times its a "on the move" shoot , thus the sling and vertical foregrip (my personal preference). Some times its a 12 o'clock pm shoot, thus the VERY bright green laser to see it in broad daylight..

The Magpul rails are to make sure I dont possibly chip a rail on the off chance I did drop my weapon, and well the suppressor thats just for me, and looks seeing how its fake lol.

Well I'm going to be honest, I bought mine just so I could be as cool as phil.... but then I got to meet his tacticool dog and realized I could never top the pugster... so I guess ill just have to be happy with little rifle;):D

This is true, but if you were a truely tacticool guy the sound it would make would be (buk buk buk buk buGAWK!........ chink...lol

Ah the sound of a suppressed rimfire... music to my ears

Lights? that's easy... 'cuz those damn raccoons only try to get the chickens at night!

( buk buk buk buk buGAWK!...... BANG!)

I bought mine because I just couldn't live without one. No really.
