Hi All
Was in Grices Gun Shop today about noon (3-4-13). They had multiple 15-22's in stock, including MOE version, also had a FDE on display. I believe they are asking $439.99 for the basic model. They are located in Clearfield PA, and their phone number is 814-765-9273. They are a large reputable dealer, and ship all over.

I see people posting on here about seeing $700 price tags on them. It was nice to see a dealer not gouging, so I thought I would pass it along. Actually they had some 5.56 AR's and pretty much a full supply of pistols, except for a shield. I got my shield there and asked if they had more, but no luck. They must have some good connections based on the stock I saw there

Seen 2 15-22's at a lgs thursday. They wanted $550 for the MOE version and $50 lessfor the regular one. I passed.

Buds Gunshop 4 Models In-Stock as of this am

There are plenty around now. Actually the LGS around here they have a little different deal, buy a magazine for $450 and get a free gun...

Yep, they do,if you want to pay $600 plus shipping for the base model. The point of my post however to to steer people towards a place that actually has Normal, non-gouging prices, and now they are down to just that basic model at Buds. I don't think people are having a lot of trouble finding $600-$700 rifles. It's the regular price that's hard to find

S&W 15-22

I agree with you however, MSRP has gone up.

AND, there are indeed "LOTS" of people willing to pay $600.00 for one. On Saturday, they had several models in-stock. Not long ago you could purchase an AR-15 for $600.

Now Monday evening the only one left is the basic model @599.00 Shipping is included, but FFL Transfer Fee is also required. Lots of people paid that $599.00 and before summers end it may be even much higher.

Sad!!!!

Had one shipped from Grices gun last week.. Awesome folks...
Its about an 75 minute drive for me, and I don't get there often, but yep, they're cool. I went down today to get a Ruger SR22 pistol from them. It was a decent price at $299. I got the newly released model with the silver slide. The all black one was $289. I had a real hard time putting down the SR45 I was checking out, but if I had brought that and the 22 home my wife probably would have used it on me

I just bought a 811034 moe edition from Griggs dept store in Pasco, Wa at: www.griggsonline.com for $508.00. While I purchased the last moe edition, they still had a good stock of 811033 , which have the threaded barrel. They charged $20.00 to ship it to me here in Missouri. They were very nice and had a decent selection of rifles/shotguns/pistols available as well.

Not sure where you got that the MSRP has gone up. I just checked the S&W web site and they list the A1 version at $519.00 msrp. Exact same as it was in Dec. when I got mine.
Also, while a lot of people might be willing to pay 600. Only an idiot would pay that if he knew he could get it for under 500

I traded a guy my 15-22 for a ruger mini 30. Sold that and bought another 15-22 and a new handgun. Muahahaaa

Going Up!!

My comment should have read going up. This was confirmed to me by 2 dealers and a wholesaler. When I do not know!

We are in agreement here on this issue so no need to preach to the choir.

My point is, that for whatever reasons people are paying these prices as all those were gone within 2-3 days. Because we don't agree with thier logic does not necessarily mean they are idiots. I am tempted to say miss-guided, but I'll not use that term either.

They have their reasons!

I am much more concerned re: ammo prices long-term than what someone is paying for this rifle. A good quality popular firearm will typically appreciate in value so maybe in the end if they hang on to it its no big deal.

Ammo until recently anyway, was something you put in your gun to go bang! Now I guess that is an investment type purchase also.

Crazy!!
