Thanks to Roy's perseverance and with digging deeper into more detailed records than normally used, the gun has been CONFIRMED AS A ROUND BUTT as manufactured and shipped, according to Roy, with a 2.5" barrel. Thanks to all those who helped and supported me in this endeavor
