An early example of fast double action shooting. In 1905 Newt Walker went on trial for killing two men in the dusty street of a small California mountain town. Things looked bad for him when the prosecution confidently said a man could not draw and shoot two men behind him, one of which according to Walker already had his gun drawn. Then, after he was asked to strap on his holster and gun and put on a fast draw exhibition in the courtroom reenacting the gunfight, the stunned jury easily acquitted him.
This is a long story about a feud between two families that resulted in this shootout. I'm assuming Walker carried a M&P .38 because when his brother killed him years later he used a similiar gun, that I seen on a video. The gunfight is described by Newt Walter in court at the end.
