From my notes it appears that the small logo on left side ran from 1920 to 1936. The large TM bordered logo was moved to the right side w/ Reg US Pat Off - 1937 to WWII & beyond.
. . . and yes that revolver shipped in mid-1939. These three were targets and shipped in May & July 1939 - 67,169, 677419, 677456.
