1911 made by "Singer"

Anyone looking for one PM me, I know a guy who's been bringing a Singer to a couple NY gunshows for years, he probably still has it. Actually here he is about 2 years ago at Chantilly. He WAS asking 50G's about 5 years ago, probably not anymore. The Singer is at around the 2 minute mark.

I was lucky enough to find a Singer at a garage sale about ten years ago. Here it is.
Once I figured out what it was, I had to sew up the deal quickly.

Holy Guns Batman! What a nice collection! Where are the Glocks?;)

How come you have not bought the Singer??;)

There's the "I don't care about the money I just like the gun" guns, then there's one of these babies. They're in the "so much money you can't not care" category.

Now if it's authentic and he still doesn't care about the money maybe he could sell it and give me the money. :)

I know of a dealer that has a Singer, has matching numbers and original singer mag. I dont know all to much about them and paid little mind to it, but I did see the price.

Id guess he does not want to sell it and the price reflects that at a mere $85,000

No matching numbers on a Singer 1911A1. Only the frame was numbered. The magazine pictured is not of Singer manufacture and the gun appears to have wood grips, which would also be incorrect.

last one our friend from the OGCA sold was at the $60,000 mark and that was in the early spring
we have seen two of them over the years and boy are we 'stupid'........not to have bought them for what they wanted, yes, had one in the shop that was issued in Viet Nam, was parkerized and through two different arsenals over the years...........
yes, really hope for this guy what he may have is the real thing and as noted, this is not some sort of 'troll thing' keep everyone in suspense....not that hard to take a camera phone pic or run a serial number by the peanut gallery............hhhmmm, interesting..............
hey ALL guns have a 'story' ;)
