1965 3" Model 19-2

Hey guys new to your community but not new to online forums.

I thought I'd open up here with a recent acquisition via a pretty good Gunbroker knife fight. I have a pretty serious fetish for 3" K frame and I swore if I ever saw another 3" 19 it would be mine. Very happy with this one as it doesn't even have a turn line.

Congratulations on picking up this 19-2 3 inch! You made your mind up and did not hesitate when bidding on it. They don't show up often for sure. I do have one question. You mentioned that it was a knife fight which you won. Did you make it out without injury or do you have some cuts/lacerations that are still healing?

Without knowing what he paid, I'd say he didn't pay too much at all...he may have simply bought it too early.

At least that's how it's looked at on the Colt Forum.

Wow! Denizens of this forum may already know my desire for 3" Model 66s. I didn't even know about the 19-2 with 3" barrel. Guess I'll have to add that to my list!
