2.0 Wow!!

Well, they got me. My Shield 45 produced the best groups on the 3, 7, and 10 yard firing line at CCL quals a couple of weeks ago, and there was some expensive iron on the line!
Expensive does not always win the day nor can it make up for a lack of skill.

I've lost count of the number of M&Ps I've owned, both gens. Being an old 1911 guy (50+ years with them) I like the same manual of arms so I will soon be taking ownership of nib 2.0 4" Compact with the thumb safety.

Every one I've owned has been 100% reliable and incredibly accurate. Simply-I like them :D

I'm with you on the 1911's and I've had a few M&P's as well but I just can't warm up to the M&P's. I picked up a 2.0, 4" Compact with the thumb safety and just don't care much for it. At the recommendations of others I installed an Apex flat trigger which made a huge difference but I still am not a fan. I think I will be sticking with 1911's.

I understand completely, I still have my 1911s and always will, my edc is one :D

When I'm at work, & bored I'll open up a 3rd Gen Glock, & a M&P 1st Gen gun, compare the insides of both, & ask myself "who copied who here". GARY

Love my 1911 but picked up M&P 2.0 fullsize with safety took it to range 50 rounds in less than fist size group @ 10 yards will really help the ammo costs along with a little lighter than 1911 w 8 rounds.
