Wish I could have one as easy as I can photoshop one! I'd want a round butt.

ACTUALLY, EASY MODIFICATION. CUT, CROWN AND DOVTAIL FRONT 1911 SIGHT. HARD PART FIND SMITH

I have a 681 and I have a very good gunsmith . But I won't do that to an " icon " weapon , not very many available . To ruin a very good 681 just go shorten the barre; an 1" or an 1.5"in barrel length and round butt the grip . Nope , not going to happen . Not to my 681 . My finance will say , " are you taking that gun that you shoot so well ' ? NO 38 special loads in this baby . Only 357 magnun loads , loaded hot and fast . Regards Paul

My barrel isn't shortened. It is a 2 1/2" 686 barrel properly modified to look and function as factory. I can put the 4" barrel back on at anytime but I won't because I have 3 other 681's. They are not hard to find around SW Ohio. I've passed on chances to buy 3 others and sold one I had a few years ago.
