Just purchased a 586 on line recently that is rather cool. The barrel is a pretty plum(very consistent) and the frame/cylinder being standard blue. The serial number puts the born on date at 1985 but the grips are marked 1982. It is a Mass State Police Comm. It appears unfired. The pics shows quite a contrast but in person it is subtle. Should make a nice shooter. Anybody else have such an animal?
