.22 LR Ammo

I have a few of the Golden Bullets left that I'll shoot sometimes along with the Federal Auto Match. One thing that I have noticed is that the Goldens have a little more oomph and recoil than the Fed's do.

22lr cci standard 40gr and Federal Champion. Shoot thru all my 22lr pistol, revolver and rifles without problems. Dependable.
My choices exactly. Stingers work well with their nickel cases in everything and last longer without fail when they start getting high round count between cleanings. But I prefer the Golden bullets to everything else, an I have tried them all. I have a dozen 22 I shoot, half of them suppressed. I have tried at least a dozen brands, those are my choices.

Stingers work great but I won't use them in the plastic guns. I always liked Winchester Super X and T22 target for all my semi autos but over all Winchester Dynapoints seem to be the most accurate, followed by CCI Blazer and CCI standard. Remington Thunderbolt is dirty ammo but it shoots ok. I don't shoot competition so I don't even look at the high $ stuff. IMG_20250824_090209.webp
